Offers direct client services and community education for people with opioid addictions * assessment and screening required for entry into the treatment program
Treatment planning and community-based outpatient treatment for people with an opioid use problem * offers treatment model based on cognitive-behavioural, stages of change, harm reduction, multidisciplinary and solution-focused * case management, outpatient counselling and aftercare to facilitate recovery
Treatment sessions assist in developing skills to manage substance use and related problems, and maintain and enhance treatment goals
Activities include:- Relapse prevention
- Guided self-change
- Follow-up
- Aftercare are included as well as programming to support/educate family

Assessment - Telephone screening and intake process * attend walk-in intake at any site * call or e-mail

Admissibilité / population desservie:

Adults and youth 12 years of age and older who are affected by opioid concerns, use and dependence * clients with minor mental illness are accepted * must be willing to enter program
