Les personnes vivant avec une psychose peuvent être la proie de changements de la personnalité, d’hallucinations, de fausses croyances et d’une compréhension altérée. La psychose peut être le résultat d’une maladie, d’une blessure, d’une consommation de drogues ou d’une maladie mentale.
Les programmes d’intervention précoce traitent et soutiennent les gens qui vivent leurs premiers épisodes de psychose. Ces personnes peuvent obtenir de l’aide pour gérer leurs symptômes dans des cliniques spécialisées et auprès de programmes en milieu hospitalier, de services de soutien et de groupes d’appui.
