Les tumeurs sont un groupe de cellules anormales qui forment des bosses ou des masses. Les tumeurs se comportent différemment, selon qu'elles sont cancéreuses (malignes), non cancéreuses (bénignes) ou précancéreuses. Le cancer est en fait un groupe de cellules anormales, donc, une tumeur, mais qui se propage dans d'autres parties du corps.
Des associations, fondations et groupes offrent de l'information et du soutien aux personnes vivant avec le cancer ou une tumeur ainsi qu'à leurs proches et aidants.
