Team works with students, parents, staff, school boards and community agencies to protect and promote healthy schools.
Health into schools is incorporated through:
- social and physical environment
- school community engagement
- community partnerships
- teaching and learning and school health in all policies
Your Healthy Schools Team has a special focus on:
- mental health
- substance use disorder
- and parenting supports
but also cover topics such as: getting ready for kindergarten, clinical supports for students, food in schools, injury prevention and many more
