Description des services: Conducts research investigating the interrelationship of physical activity and aging to promote the independence of older adults * develops, encourages and promotes an active, healthy lifestyle for Canadian adults * memberships available for 10-12 month durations

Combined Fitness Program - Combination of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength and balance training exercises * daily morning and afternoon * two or three times per week

Dynamic Balance Training - Strengthening exercises for the semi-independent adult to prevent falls and improve mobility * Tue, Thu 11am-12noon

Get Fit For Active Living - 8-week session for seniors new to fitness

Osteoporosis Functional Fitness Program - All components of fitness for those who have been diagnosed with or who are at risk of osteoporosis * Mon, Wed, Fri 11:15am-12:30pm

Strength Training - One hour program covers all major muscle groups and includes warmth and stretching exercises * early and late mornings

Yoga - 8-week sessions to improve stability and flexibility * boosts mental health and overall well-being * participants are required to bring their own yoga mat

Community Outreach Program - Leadership Training - programs instruct exercises to older adults * programs include: Home Support Exercise Program, Seniors Fitness Instructors Course for older adults, Functional Fitness for Older Adults, Restorative Care Education and Training Program, Tiered Exercise Program, Post Rehab Exercise for Stroke, Research to Action Conference, Restorative Care Conference, Functional Fitness for Falls Prevention, Functional Exercise for Dementia, Training for the Trainer, Continuing Education Workshops
